The historic impact of Jesus is extraordinary and yet, unlike other historic figures, He never held a political office, never wrote a book, never invented anything, never discovered anything, never led an army into battle, and never amassed a great deal of wealth. The historic significance of Jesus comes through the impact that His life and His death had on those around Him.
Jesus continues to be historically relevant because His life and His death still have an effect on people today. For us, Jesus is a person who is meant to transform the lives of every man, woman, and child in the world.
